FlashSystem 9150 (9848-AF8 / 9846-AF8) is the performance-tier control enclosure in IBM's original FlashSystem 9100 family, the array line that introduced FlashCore Module media in 2018. It scales to more drives and higher performance than its sibling 9110, but both share the same FCM1-only media ceiling.
With standard support already ended, treat any current 9150 conversation as a lifecycle and refresh question. FCM2 through FCM5 media are not compatible with this control enclosure.
