IBM FlashSystem 9110
The entry model of IBM's original FlashSystem 9100 family, SFF NVMe control enclosure running first-generation FlashCore Modules, past standard support.
FlashSystem 9110 (9848-AF7 / 9846-AF7) is the entry-tier control enclosure in IBM's original FlashSystem 9100 family, the array line that introduced FlashCore Module media in 2018. It shares the same FCM1-only media support as its sibling 9150, but at a lower performance and cost point.
With standard support already ended, treat any current 9110 conversation as a lifecycle and refresh question. FCM2 through FCM5 media are not compatible with this control enclosure.
