FlashSystem 5030 is a SAS-based system, not an NVMe FlashCore Module system. That distinction matters more than the model number for sourcing purposes: any quote or part search that assumes FCM compatibility on a 5030 is starting from the wrong media family entirely.
With standard support ending December 31, 2026, a current 5030 owner should be planning a refresh conversation now. FlashSystem 5600 is the closest current-generation NVMe replacement path; FlashSystem C200 is the closer fit if the workload is backup, archive, or capacity-first rather than latency-first.
